We've moved in. New home, new experience. We live in Lone Butte, 14 miles from Santa Fe, but a world away. The house is newer, solar, well water, radiant tile floor heat. Its truly the nicest place we've ever inhabited. We live on 14 acres-feed and take care of 8 chickens, two goats, Horus and Freddy, and a peruvian horse named Corazon... "Corey."

There is a windmill at the top of the property that draws up the well water. The views are unbelievable, 80 miles out, snow and brush and a spectacular sunrise-- Amazing.

The place is coming together, feeling like home. We have moved three times in half as many years. Needless to say, we hope to be here for a while.





We have to crank up this windmill every other week to draw up our well water. So thats what those do. hmm.
