This summer has been treating us well.  Although the season is slipping through our fingertips, we are doing our best to make the most of these hot summer days.  Amidst the daily responsibilities of work and life, we managed a week long trip to Pittsburgh for Atalaya's 2nd birthday to celebrate with family (photos and details coming).  On Monday, we're Colorado bound!  The purpose is work, but we're SO looking forward to seeing places like Telluride along the way.  It's going to be a bit insane, especially traveling with a precocious toddler, but this girl has been movin' and shakin' with us since the day she was born!  A few days after our return, we'll leave again to visit family in Florida.  Looking forward to spending some hot, sunny days at the beach; not to mention the unadulterated attention that will be bestowed upon Atalaya.  Our girl loves to be loved!  The end of August welcomes a return to school, the start of cooler weather (we hope!), chiles roasting at the Farmer's Market and, perhaps, fires in the kiva.  I am really looking forward to Fall, as I do every year.

On another note, the following are a few photos taken by the immensely talented Kathryn Gamble and Vanessa Frosch.  These ladies were in town taking a photography seminar by the acclaimed photographer Andrew Eccles.  Keenan was approached by one of his professors, a friend of Andrew Eccles, to be a subject for the project.  Somehow, we all got in on it and walked away with some of the most amazing family portraits.  We are so grateful to have met and worked with Kathryn and Vanessa.  They are amazing, talented women and incredible photographers.  I'll keep posting random shots as I upload them.

Well, we're off for a fun night at El Zaguan for the art opening of our friend Billy McCLane.  There's going to be champagne, loads of chocolate and fresh beats care of DJ Blake Visions (aka Keenan....yay!).  Cheers to weekend fun!
